NXP Sustainability Credentials
NXP’s Sustainability Credentials are detailed in a 12-page document, the inaugural edition of which was published in September 2025.
You’ll find in here a snapshot of our actionable commitments to reducing our environmental impact, sourcing responsibly, and making a positive impact in the community. Our efforts are continuous and genuine; we’re serious about doing the right thing. Download the pdf to read up on the progress we’ve made so far.
NXPlanet
NXPlanet is the name of the NXP sustainability programme. Currently 3,723 SKU’s in NXP’s product range exceed our ethical sourcing standards, and also meet one of our 14 environmentally or socially responsible criteria.
| We tag all qualifying products with this NXPlanet icon, giving clients the ability to make more sustainable choices as they select their business supplies. |
This is a continual process – evaluating products against our carefully-curated criteria, staying abreast of what's truly sustainable in NZ, and seeking out new NXPlanet additions. It is very important to NXP that our NXPlanet icon only goes on those products which are helping us all act more sustainably.

Toitū Envirocare

Toitū is a subsidiary of Manaaki Whenua Landcare Research, a Government-owned crown research institute. They help businesses become more efficient, reduce their carbon footprint and operate more sustainably.
NXP has signed up to Toitū’s carbonreduce programme. Using the Toitū tools, NXP is measuring, managing & mitigating our carbon journey. Probably like your business, we seek to reduce our carbon footprint.
We became a Toitū carbonreduce-certified organisation in December 2024. Our next audit is planned for April 2026.
