NXP & ADE

NXP has a unique formal partnership with Aotearoa Disability Enterprises (ADE), giving back to our community in an impactful targeted way.

ADE is a nationwide collective of eleven enterprises which provide work for 900 New Zealanders with intellectual disabilities and neurodiversity. ADE sites specialise in kitting, manufacturing and recycling.

NXP has committed to assisting ADE in the following ways:

  • Stocking & selling Will & Able cleaning products
  • Using ADE services such as paper recycling, secure destruction, battery recycling and e-waste recycling
  • Employing ADE for kitting services - labelling, packing, repacking, simple assembly, rework
  • Sponsoring the ADE national conference
  • Donation of surplus product for ADE internal use

We are also able to introduce ADE to NXP clients when we observe they have specific needs where ADE enterprises could assist.

Our partnership with ADE only started in 2023, so it’s early days – but we have good alignment and think we can boost demand for ADE. In doing so, we help to provide real and meaningful jobs for hundreds of Kiwis with intellectual disabilities and neurodiversity.

Will & Able

Will & Able is the first social enterprise of its kind in New Zealand. Their mission is to create meaningful jobs for Kiwis with intellectual disabilities and neurodiversity. NXP supports Will & Able by stocking and offering their range of eco-friendly cleaning products as part of our business supplies range.

Highbrook Watersports Centre

NXP is a founding sponsorship partner of the Highbrook Regional Watersports Centre Trust who have received council approval to build a watersports facility on the banks of the Tamaki River in Auckland.

The trust's purpose is to oversee delivery of programmes that encourage the growth of rowing, waka-ama, canoe-kayak, and other paddling codes in Auckland's Eastern and Southern suburbs.

The development will include a floating pontoon, concrete boat ramp and hardstand, and a centre clubhouse, located right at the doorstep of our Distribution Centre in Highbrook, at Waiouru Rd. Funding for construction of the pavilion is currently being sought.
