Degradable bags are manufactured from PE (LDPE or HDPE) using EPI polymer which triggers the degrading process. These bags are designed to break down into tiny particles in certain conditions once the bag has been discarded. This polymer requires prolonged exposure to amounts of sunlight, UV light and oxygen before it fully completes the degrading process.
